Alex Scott
Alex Scott is E3G’s Climate Diplomacy and Geopolitics Programme Lead. Her work focusses on mapping the geopolitical landscape onto diplomatic strategy across sectoral issues and between governments and NGO networks to drive up climate policy ambition and secure the financing to deliver it. Before joining E3G she spent 10 years delivering climate and environment policy in local and national government, including shaping the UK Government’s post-brexit relationship with the EU on international climate policy. Outside government she developed a sustainable development law knowledge sharing platform with the Climate Law and Governance Initiative, launched fossil fuel divestment campaigning in Western Australia with 350.org, and helped lead Western Australia’s Amnesty International networks.
