Steve Westlake

Dr. Steve Westlake is a climate leadership research fellow at Cardiff University. He examines the effects of leaders who visibly reduce their own climate impact by adopting low-carbon behaviours, and the public desire for such leadership. His recently published PhD is titled “The power of leading by example with high-impact, low-carbon behaviour: emulation, trust, credibility justice”. Steve has previously worked for the Climate Change Committee (CCC) and he is an affiliate of the Centre for Climate Change and Social Transformations (CAST), the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, and the Climate Citizens project at Lancaster University.
